HSC Democrats believe women must be accorded full equality.  We support passage of the Equal Rights Amendment as well as efforts to guarantee women access to legal and safe medical abortions. Efforts must be taken immediately to address the tragic fact that Arkansas ranks highest in the nation in maternal safety during childbirth.
